The Purple server will be rebooted today between 20:00 and 22:59 UTC on Wed 27th Sep 2017 to load new a new kernel. This update patched a vulnerability that meant that a local attacker could escalate their privileges on the system. The outage should only last around 5 minutes while the systems reboots.
